The Portland Timbers posted this video of MLS All-Stars manager Caleb Porter completing the Ice Bucket Challenge, a device used to raise awareness for ALS. ESPN analyst and color commentator Taylor Twellman challenged the Timbers manager, and he passed on the challenge to Portland Thorns midfielder Alex Morgan, Oregonian reporter John Canzano, and United States manager Jürgen Klinsmann.
Oh, and Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola, who Porter issues a mock handshake to.
Guardiola snubbed Porter at the All-Star Game less than a week ago when the Timbers manager went in for the traditional post-match handshake. US Soccer president Sunil Gulati said that there was no bad blood between the two, but an ice-bucket challenge is a good form of revenge.
Whether or not Guardiola obliges will be interesting to watch. Considering he was doused in beer at Bayern's Bundesliga celebration, he will have plenty of practice.
