Bayern Munich have squeezed in one more transfer before the summer window closes, acquiring Juventus youngster Kingsley Coman on a two-year loan. The 19-year-old has signed a deal until May 2017.
Juventus confirmed Sunday the loan will come with a €7 million fee. Bayern also hold a buy option of €21 million at any time before April 30, 2017. Coman completed his medical on Sunday before the clubs announced the move.
"I’m looking forward to Munich and playing for Bayern," Coman told Bayern's website. "I want to take the next step in my career here and play my part in two successful years for Bayern."
Coman will be moving on to his third club in three seasons. He played in Paris Saint-Germain's youth team in the 2013/14 season before moving on a free transfer to Juventus last summer. The Frenchman now has the potential to be the most expensive teenage acquisition Bayern has ever made.
"Kingsley Coman is one of the biggest talents in European football," said Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer. "We’re delighted we’ve been able to sign him for FC Bayern. Kingsley is quick, technically skilled and an attack-minded player. Hopefully we’ll benefit from having him at the club."
