In case the rumors that Pep Guardiola leaving weren't enough to we your appetite for change, Bayern Munich have already secured a replacement according to Jose Felix Diaz of MARCA.
Diaz reported this morning that the highly esteemed Italian coach is set to join Bayern Munich on a 3-year contract this summer after Pep Guardiola sees out his contract. Bayern Munich first approached Ancelotti back in the spring when the first inklings that Pep Guardiola would leave began to surface, but he rebuffed Bayern's advances in favor of staying with Real Madrid -- and we all say how that loyalty was repaid by Florentino Perez. Ancelotti's hiring is reportedly set to be announced next week alongside the news of Guardiola's departure.
While nothing has been confirmed by the club, it certainly seems like Pep Guardiola's future at Bayern Munich is over. And to be honest, that's not a surprising revelation given the patterns the last few months. All that's left for Guardiola now is to make sure that wherever he's headed next, he's headed there on the heels of winning everything possible.
