Bayern Munich are scouting Valencia and Germany defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to the defender's agent.

Ali Bulut, an agent part of Soccer Concept AG that represents several players in the Bundesliga, told the radio show "Gestiona Radio Valencia" Bayern scouts "have observed all of his games this year."

"Next year we will see what happens," Bulut said.

AS reported at the beginning of October Bayern, Barcelona, and Real Madrid are all keeping tabs on Mustafi, but could cost in the range of €40 million. The Spanish newspaper then reported Manchester United were also sniffing around the 23-year-old Valencia defender, prepared to make a €30 million bid.

Mustafi is in his second season with Valencia after moving from Sampdoria for €8 million in the summer of 2014. He signed a five-year contract until 2019 as part of the move, and his contract reportedly has a €50 million release clause. Bulut said his client Mustafi feels good at Valencia, and the club has not approached them about a transfer.

"There are no negotiation demands on our side," said Bulut. "If Valencia notifies us, then we will listen."
