Bild: Martínez Thinking of Transferring from Bayern

Martinez has a supposed conversation with his agent voicing complaints about his time at Bayern

Javi Martínez has apparently voiced discomfort to his agent, according to Bild, and Bayern München's most expensive transfer is thinking about leaving the club.

BILD learned of a conversation with [Martinez's] agent Margarita Garay. He supposedly complained: "I did not imagine this so." Martinez is playing with the thoughts of leaving the club.

This report comes a day after Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge sent a firm message through the press regarding rumors of discomfort, saying that unhappy players should "come to his office." Mario Götze and Thomas Müller also allegedly voiced complaints, although Müller said in an interview with Austrian newspaper Krone Zeitung that he is not planning to leave the club right now.

Guardiola addressed the possible complaints of Götze, Martínez and Müller players in his press conference before the match against Hamburg SV, saying that he "has to decide what is best for the entire team." All three were in the starting XI the next day.

Martínez falls under the category of the players in Bayern's squad that have seen a fraction of the pitch time that they had the year before. Granted, Martínez had groin and foot issues, and manager Pep Guardiola revealed a fortnight ago that the 25-year-old had struggled to stay fit. That being said, the jostling of Martínez between defense and midfield could have made him feel queasy about his role in the side.

Barcelona are allegedly after Martínez's services, sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta keen on bringing the Spaniard back to his homeland. Bild also listed Manchester City or Arsenal, although it appeared the paper was merely undertaking a brainstorming exercise.

Bild believes the Spaniard will need at least a €35 million transfer fee, and transfermarkt has set his market value at €37 million as a reference. Martínez's contract runs until 2017, so whoever is sniffing around his skill set will have to discharge a significant sum.
