Kinglsey Coman has been called up to the French national team by Didier Deschamps for their friendlies against the Netherlands and Russia on March 25th and 29th, respectively.

This is the second time Deschamps has given Coman the call, with the first coming in November when he made his debut against Germany, substituting in for a 17 minute appearance in a 2-0 win. He added 45 minutes against England to his resume four days later in a 2-0 loss.

Coman has outperformed expectations since his loan move to Bavaria, scoring 6 goals and adding 11 assists in 26 games across all competitions. It'll be interesting to see whether Coman's recent form (2 goals and 4 assists in his last four games) has impressed Deschamps enough to give him more playing time out on the flanks. Coman will surely be looking to impress, as he'll be keen to lock up a spot on the squad for the upcoming Euros in his home country.
