Dante came on in the 73rd minute of play in Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen. Was that the last appearance the 31-year-old defender would make for the Rekordmeister? After the match, Dante gave perhaps the only answer he could.
"We will talk over the next 48 hours," said Dante.

Those 48 hours represent the time left in the transfer window, which makes his bench appearance on Saturday perplexing. Even though he was the only trained center back available, Dante did not appear in the starting XI. Manager Pep Guardiola elected to use a diamond defense with David Alaba and Xabi Alonso instead.
"His decision will be dependent on that," said sporting director Matthias Sammer to Sport Bild. "There are some clubs interested. He will make his decision."
Those clubs include the other three Bundesliga clubs in the Champions League: Wolfsburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. All three clubs have fitness issues in central defense, but Bayern does as well. Mehdi Benatia could be back following the FIFA international break to pair with Jérôme Boateng though, and Holger Badstuber and Javi Martínez may be available soon after.
With less than two days in the transfer window, Dante's future plans will become definite quickly.
