Since Bayern Munich announced the departure of, now-former coach, Hansi Flick, the coaching staff has undergone some serious changes. First of all, Julian Nagelsmann was appointed as the new head coach, and so the snowball effect started.
Flick took a some of his former assistants to the German national team, to help him out with the day-to-day work. But Julian Nagelsmann also brought in a couple of his former assistants from RB Leipzig. And now, after already bringing a team of experts, he’s reportedly about to bring in another expert.
And this time, as Bild is reporting, Nagelsmann is bringing a sport psychologist from RB Leipzig to Bayern Munich. Dr. Maximilian Pelka will join the Bavarian side after spending the last four years in Leipzig. He will join Bayern on the first of September.
His expertise is in player’s mental fitness and often works on one-on-one sessions with the players.
