Another defender emerges on Bayern Munich’s radar

Bayern Munich is checking out all options.

RC Lens v AS Monaco - French Cup

So far, Bayern Munich has been linked to Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier, Paris Saint-Germain’s Nordi Mukiele, and Genoa center-back Radu Drăgușin, as it hopes to fill a hale or two on the backline.

Per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, there is yet another player on Bayern Munich’s transfer wish list — Lens center-back Kevin Danso:

ℹ️ News #Danso: FC Bayern have inquired about contract details and transfer options in the last hours!

➡️ Nothing concrete at the moment

➡️ But Freund is sounding out more options … Next to Dier & Dragusin.

As reported yesterday: #PSG have also inquired about Danso in the last days!

Loan with an option to buy? Permanent deal? Depends on PSG and Bayern now.

Danso is still on the list as also via @FabrizioRomano | @SkySportDE

To add more fuel to the fire, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also had information on the rumor:

EXCLUSIVE: Bayern add Kevin Danso to their centre-back shortlist as Radu Dragusin gets closer to Tottenham move after official bid sent today.

Danso was already on Bayern list last summer but then he signed new deal at Lens.

He’s again an option explored by Bayern.

Danso is more of a pure center-back option (like Drăgușin) than someone who can play multiple positions. In his career, Danso has played 173 games at center-back, four at right-back, three at left-back, and two as a defensive midfielder.
