Article No. 1000 on why the Kane transfer wasn’t half bad.

In an interview with Abendzeitung, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Jamal Musiala talked about the addition of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. The 20-year-old, who most spent most of his youth in England, will no doubt have grown up witnessing the former Tottenham Hotspur’s player’s exploits as he quickly became the most high profile one season wonder in the history of the Premier League. Surely he would have gained some sort of admiration for England’s captain. Then again, he did grow up at Chelsea FC. Regardless, now that they are together in Munich, London rivalries can be forgotten.

Having said all of that, if this isn’t a media trained answer, then I’m a hog monkey’s uncle. “With Harry Kane, we have an outstanding goalscorer with whom I can combine very well,” he explains, “and our management is working on extending the contracts of important players and further strengthening the team.”

I think he forgot to add that he is “relaxed” about his contract in Munich.
