Bayern Munich may only be in Year One of its Harry Kane era, but they are already looking to the long-term future of the striker position.
Kane, 30, has been a major success in his first year in the Bundesliga and has a contract until 2027. Behind him is 18-year-old Mathys Tel, a talented French youngster in his second season with the Bavarians, though whether his future will be at the No. 9 or on the wing is not certain.
Now the Bavarians are reported to be in on a teenage talent from Sweden, Jonah Kusi-Asare. From fussball.news reporter Christopher Michel, via @iMiaSanMia:
Bayern have made an offer to Swedish club AIK Solna for 16-year old striker Jonah Kusi-Asare. FCB want to sign Kusi-Asare on a three and a half year contract with an option for another two years. The plan for the striker is to play for the second team in the Regionalliga, but also train partly with the first team. Fee would be around €5m. Bayern are facing competition from PSV Eindhoven. The prospect of a move to Munich is appealing to the player [@CMoffiziell]
Kusi-Asare has a contract at AIK Solna until 2026 and is listed by Transfermarkt as already 1.96m tall.
With an offer on the table and a sizable transfer fee to boot, it sounds like the German Rekordmeister is very serious about this one.
