Citing a report from Nathan Gissing of Sky Sports in England, journalist Florian Plettenberg noted that Bayern Munich lobbed an inquiry over to AC Milan for 26-year-old defender Fikayo Tomori.

However, AC Milan has no interest in selling the defender, who was born in Canada but has played internationally at the senior level for England:

News #Tomori: FC Bayern has enquired about the 26 y/o defender from Milan. He’s on the list but currently injured. He was discussed internally in the last weeks.

➡️ Christoph Freund is a big fan of him!

But: Move is currently unlikely as Milan is not looking to sell Tomori this month. However, it’s not ruled out that Bayern could make another attempt.

Tomori has played all 22 of his games this season at center-back, but has played 30 games as a right-back over the course of his career. That profile seems to be something that Bayern Munich is targeting this month.

Alas, though, Milan has no interest in letting Tomori go at this point.
