Bayern Munich have now entered what is probably a more important winter transfer window than normal. Key players will be temporarily unavailable due to AFCON and the Asian Cup on top of targets being chased by the Bavarians. German news outlet kicker outlines the positions that Bayern are looking to reinforce and players who might go:

Should any player be signed, the club hopes to do it before the Portugal training camp so that player could be integrated into the team. Lastly, the club will allot €60-80 million for any transfer which should hopefully be enough for a starting caliber player

Long-time Bayern target João Palhinha is slowly fading away while players like Jonathan Tah of Bayer Leverkusen, Ronald Araujo of FC Barcelona, and even Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad. Whoever Bayern bring in, they hope to get the deal done and not like Palhinha’s initial near transfer to the Rekordmeister in summer 2023.
