According to a report from Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), several key players at Bayern Munich are under the microscope as their respective futures hag in the balance.
Specifically, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Matthijs de Ligt and Alphonso Davies are being closely monitored, while — interestingly — it could be Max Eberl, who is not yet working in any official capacity for the club that makes the decision on what happens to them:
Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Serge Gnabry, Matthijs de Ligt and Alphonso Davies are being watched closely internally. Max Eberl is expected to be in charge of their future once he’s appointed onto the board, which is likely to happen by the end of February. The Supervisory board is set to meet on 26 February to give their approval.
Just a year ago, this massive of a potential fallout would have seemed inconceivable as each of the players referenced were projected to key cogs in the future of the club. Now, though, things appear to be uncertain at best.
Thomas Tuchel’s influence on key personnel seems to be taking shape.
