According to a report from Miguel Delaney of The Independent (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich could be set to rekindle its interest in Chelsea FC’s Trevoh Chalobah.

Despite some reports to the contrary, Delaney also states that Bayern Munich is going to go after Fulham FC’s João Palhinha in hopes of getting the No. 6 that Thomas Tuchel has long desired:

Bayern Munich are set to pursue long-standing interest in both Trevoh Chalobah and João Palhinha this January.

Thomas Tuchel’s preference is to sign both and he feels they can be the difference as Bayern look to launch a proper challenge for the Champions League this season. Both deals fell through last summer, and Tuchel is now seeking to resurrect both moves this window.

Chalobah has been an on-again, off-again target for the Bavarians, but it remains to be seen just how much of a transfer fee that Chelsea would be seeking. As for Palhinha, Bayern Munich knows what it will have to pay for the midfielder, so it is just a matter if the Bavarians want to go that high.
