In an interview with Abendzeitung, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala spoke about his goals for the future. This follows talks about his future, which Musiala answered without committing to any one route. However, it did bring the interview into a certain direction: What are his personal goals?

“For me personally it’s important that I’m having fun, playing a lot, scoring a lot of goals, making assists and can win titles.”

A simple answer, perhaps, but it is always important to know what one truly values in life. Speaking of which, the former Chelsea academy player may have a particular goal in mind for this season. The Champions League final in Wembley.

“Wembley is a magical place. A very special stadium as I grew up in London. We’ll give everything as a team [to make it there] — but at this level, the form of the day is crucial, as well as having all players fit.”

After several years of losing in the quarterfinals and underperforming relative to expectations, Thomas Tuchel’s men wants to finally win the competition again. And perhaps relive the kind of Wembley glory the legendary treble winning version of Bayern did back in 2013.
