Is Bayern Munich about to get raided by Saudi clubs?

Don’t go to Saudi Arabia... just ask Jordan Henderson.

The summer transfer window saw clubs from Suadi Arabia splash some serious cash on big-name players in Europe including Neymar, Jordan Henderson, and former Bayern Munich player Sadio Mané (who is involved in some nefarious business when he’s not focused on fighting his teammates and being offside).

There was even an attempt made to bring Kingsley Coman to the oil-rich country and an inquiry made about the availability of Dayot Upamecano, but unlike Mané, neither player had any interest in leaving Munich. It seems, however, that the Saudi onslaught is not yet over.

According to L’Equipe, Al-Hilal is interested in the possibility of signing Raphaël Guerreiro on loan with an option to buy in their search for a left-back (via @iMiaSanMia).

Guerreiro has struggled with injuries during his time at Bayern, which has seen him get limited minutes since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. When the Portuguese left-back has been available for selection he’s looked decent enough and played his part well in a midfield partnership with Aleksander Pavlović in recent Bundesliga matches.

From Bayern’s perspective, letting Guerreiro leave so soon after joining would be a strange choice as he’s not only a great backup option with a lot of versatility, but might become a hugely important player for the team should Alphonso Davies leave in the summer.
