Bayern Munich star Leroy Sané picked up assists on his team’s first two goals during a 3-0 win over Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, but that was not enough to keep manager Thomas Tuchel satisfied.

The coach called for his winger to utilize his athleticism more.

“He has to play with more physicality again. He has so much physical potential, in fast runs, in sprints. He can’t do without that, it’s not enough for me. There’s room for improvement,” Tuchel told @ransport (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

It seems as if Tuchel is really pushing to see Sané maximize his potential. After a scorching hot start to the season, the Germany international did trail off a bit in December. Now, though, is when Tuchel really wants to see Sané elevate his game.

Clearly, in Tuchel’s mind, Sané is capable of being far more impactful than he was against Hoffenheim (despite being a performance that many other folks would highly rate).
