PSG prez won’t bite at questions on transfer rumors involving Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich

Imagine this move went down...woooof.

In one of the most oddball rumors to emerge during this winter transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly trying to woo Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich to join Les Parisiens...now.

This month — and not in the summer when it was initially rumored that he might explore his options.

Weird, right?

Well, if you want a confirmation or denial from PSG, you will not get it from PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

“I don’t want to talk about names. I respect Bayern and have a very good relationship with them. The transfer window is difficult, especially in winter. We’re looking at each player that can bring something to the team. We don’t need stars, the star today is Paris Saint-Germain,” Al-Khelaifi said during an appearance on RMC Sport’s Rothen s’enflamme (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

As expected, nothing has leaked out of Bayern Munich, nor from Kimmich’s camp (which is really just him at this point, though it is rumored that he will hire an agent soon).

It is still definitely a longshot, but PSG seems like it has no fear of at least throwing its hat into the ring.
