Last week, Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga game against Union Berlin was cancelled due to the snow that fell upon Munich. The game has since been rescheduled to 24 January 2024 and the Union players instead had fun in the snow. While Thomas Müller was also out in the freezing cold, that was what happened with his supposed contract talks:

Last weekend, the first round of negotiations for the contract extension with Thomas Müller was canceled due to the snowfall. A meeting between the bosses and Müller’s management was planned.

This does not hinder the bosses’ plans to extend the 34-year-old’s contract, however, as they are determined to get a deal over the line. The rescheduled contract talks will take place soon as sporting director Christoph Freund wants to get it done before Christmas. Number 25 extends before December 25, what more could you ask for?
