Bayern Munich seems to be taking into consideration all the center backs in Europe, whether they are starting quality or not. The Bavarians found themselves linked with FC Barcelona outcast Clément Lenglet (please no) but rebounded a little when they expressed their interest in Giorgio Scalvini from Atalanta:
Atalanta centre-back Giorgio Scalvini (19) is one of the defenders followed by Bayern. A move is difficult to realize as Scalvini is under contract until 2027, has a market value of €40m and Atalanta wants to keep him.

At only 19 years of age, Scalvini has at least 15 years of football in him. He may very well become the next Giorgio Chiellini (his namesake as well) if he continues to develop. The last time the Rekordmeister signed a center back from Serie A, it paid off massively (Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus).
