According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich has interest in versatile defender Nordi Mukiele.

Mukiele, who has appeared in nine games across all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain this season, can aptly play both right-back and center-back fits the profile of the type of player that Bayern Munich has been rumored to be looking for.

At 26-years-old, Mukiele is in his prime and has experience playing in Germany as he was a contributor at RB Leipzig before moving to PSG. However, getting Mukiele could prove to be difficult:

Bayern are interested in Nordi Mukiele, who would fit the profile they’re looking for and is seen as an ideal solution. However, as PSG are set to lose Achraf Hakimi to the AFCON in January, they’re not prepared to let Mukiele go.

There are several options for Bayern Munich, but each have some sort of roadblock. Ultimately, Bayern Munich will get a deal done for a versatile defender, but now it is just a matter of “who?” and “how much?”.
