It was very curious as to why Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller did not chat with reporters following his team’s 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg back on December 20th (which somehow feels like ages ago).
It was mostly curious because Müller, who was the only Bayern Munich player to face the music from the press after Bayern Munich was shellacked 5-1 by Eintracht Frankfurt, played great and had two assists in the victory over the Wolves.
Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), shed some light on why Müller went missing-in-action after the match:
Thomas Müller didn’t give interviews after last night’s game as he had to take a doping test immediately after the game, which took over an hour. He was in a rush to catch the plane back to Munich with the team and just told the reporters before he left: “Merry Christmas. It’s about time Leverkusen drop a few points!”
Well, now we know...and knowing is half the battle (or something like that)!
Anyway, the poor guy spends most of the season on the bench, finally gets a chance to play, gets two assists...and the doping team mysteriously shows up for a test.
No respect...I tell ya.
