Where is Jon Snow when you need him?

Bayern Munich’s match with Union Berlin was cancelled because of snow and now the club has to take some measures to start to get the Allianz Arena ready for action once again.

In what looks like a scene out of Game of Thrones that would be followed by an army of wights led by the White Walkers, Bayern Munich is using a helicopter to blow the slow off of the roof at the Allianz Arena.

The misty haze of snow is eerily reminiscent to what we saw in the once-great, poorly finished HBO show:

Here is another angle:

To be clear, it was was so bad that Jamal Musiala could not even get in an individual training session because of how snow-covered the surfaces were. Instead, Musiala hit the gym:

Here is even more astounding info on the sudden snowfall from Abendzeitung (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):

The Snow Depth in Munich today reached 44 centimeters (Editor’s Note: Over 17 inches for all of us Americans) — There hasn’t been this much snow in the city in December since snow measurement started in 1933 (previous record was 43 cm in December 1938). The snowfall in Munich is expected to ease on Saturday evening and stop on Sunday night.

Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon and Bayern Munich can start to prepare for its upcoming matches.
