Manchester City, despite the load of talent they have on their team, continues to look for players to make their squad even more loaded. The Mancunians pretty much have an unlimited war chest and can sign anyone they wish…just not from Bayern Munich or FC Barcelona.

According to Pep’s biographer Martí Perarnau (Diario AS via @iMiaSanMia). Man City sporting director Txiki Begiristain put together a transfer wish list and it contained a lot of players from the Rekordmeister and the Catalans. The 52-year-old coach, however. made his stance clear that no players from his previously coached clubs will be signed, most likely out of respect for the said clubs.

Pep has always been a rather charitable person. He let Lyon through to the semifinals of the Champions League. He gave João Cancelo to Bayern. He handed Chelsea FC their *first* UCL title in 2021. What a guy.
