Union Berlin boss says Bayern Munich is much more than just Harry Kane

The new boss at Union Berlin is no dummy.

Union Berlin has not gotten off to the type of start that many expected this season.

In fact, things have gone so poorly for Die Eisernen that the club already sacked Urs Fischer and replaced him with Nenad Bjelica.

Bjelica has been tasked with turning the season around for Union Berlin and knows that Bayern Munich is a monster to deal with because of all its potent weapons.

“Bayern are not just Harry Kane, they have many dangerous players that we must have under control. We shouldn’t just think that Harry Kane is the only one who can be dangerous. When you have players like (Leroy) Sané, (Serge) Gnabry or (Thomas) Müller in the team, each of them can be very dangerous. We’ll need a top performance and a lot of discipline,” said Bjelica (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). Nobody expects anything from us. Bayern are the clear favourites. This could be our chance and we believe in our chances. In our situation, a point would also be important for our self-confidence, but of course we want to win the game. We need 100% focus and discipline for 90 minutes — and a bit of luck as well, then we can get something from the game.”

Bjelica could really make his mark by guiding Union Berlin to a win, but the Bavarians will undoubtedly rely on many of those aforementioned players to keep the Iron Ones near the bottom of the league table.
