Bayern Munich continue looking for versatility in defense as the depth chart does not show promise. The main criterion for the defender is that he should be able to play CB and RB; Bayern had Josip Stanišić but loaned him out to Bayer Leverkusen. La Liga title challengers Girona might have someone for the Bavarians, though:

Bayern are keeping a very close eye on the Spanish market in their search for defenders (right-back/centre-back). Girona’s Arnau Martínez (20), right-back who can also play as a centre-back, is said to be on the club’s radar, although the name is not 100% confirmed yet.

Transfermarkt shows that Arnau has played 11 games this season and scored three goals in the process. FC Barcelona expressed interest in their former academy product five months ago.

Girona are tied with Real Madrid for points and only trail them on goal difference.
