Bayern Munich have struck gold with Harry Kane who has given the Rekordmeister a massive boost in terms of productivity. With 29 goal contributions in all competitions so far (22 goals and seven assists), the former Tottenham Hotspur striker is coming into his own with the Bavarians. So much that ex-Bayern player Javi Martinez put his old club and Manchester City as the two favorite teams to win the Champions League:

The England captain has been an integral part of Thomas Tuchel’s set up so it would be hard to argue that Bayern aren’t UCL contenders (although there are some issues that need addressing).

Bayern are currently looking for midfielders and many fans are clamoring for the 35-year-old Spaniard to return home to Munich. Javi is known for his clutch goals in UEFA Supercups: in 2013 against Chelsea FC (121st minute equalizer, Bayern would win on penalties) and in 2020 against Sevilla FC (104th minute header to win the game).
