FC Copenhagen boss Jacob Neestrup says rotation for Bayern Munich doesn’t change his plans at all

FC Copenhagen manager Jacob Neestrup has heard that Bayern Munich might heavily rotate ahead of the Champions League clash between the clubs, but he is not concerned with who play for the Bavarians — because every player is good.

“Bayern to rest key players? First and foremost we have to focus on ourselves. We’re here to take points. We know what we are playing for. Regardless of the players Bayern will send on the pitch, it’s still a big club and they probably won’t change their playing style because they will replace a quality player with another quality player,” said Neestrup (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “We’ll do everything we can to deliver a performance where we live up to our own potential and our own quality. If we can do that, then there’s a chance to take points. There’s also a possibility that we deliver a perfect performance and still lose. But we are here to get points, regardless of the stats [Bayern’s record in the CL group stage].”

FC Copenhagen showed a great fighting spirit in the first game between the two sides, but now the Danish power will be on the road at the Allianz Arena — an atmosphere that can throw even the most powerful clubs off of their game.

Either way, Neestrup firmly believes that he will have his team ready to go.
