Most players discover a struggle or two when they transfer to a new club, especially in a foreign country. Whether it’s the language, weather, cuisine, coaching, or style of play, there always seems to be something. But Harry Kane has relished his short spell at Bayern Munich, finding joy in every aspect of his new environment.

Kane’s play on the pitch is a reflection of his renewed happiness. He is scoring a whopping 1.5 goals per game in the Bundesliga. He also has a three-goal lead on Robert Lewandowski’s historic 41-goal season through Matchday 12.

Humble as they come, Kane is cautious to rank this period as his peak.

Harry Kane on whether he’s currently having the best phase of his career: “Good question. I’ve already had some good phases in my career, but this is definitely one of the best. I’m going into every game with a good feeling and know that I’ll get chances in every game. I feel at home here, everyone welcomed me very well here - I want to repay that every time I’m on the pitch. There are fantastic players that create chances for me here, so I just have to make sure I’m in the right place and right time” [@SPORT1]

There’s an incredible scenario where Harry Kane completes a personal treble next summer by winning the Bundesliga in May, Champions League in June, and Euros with England in July. Maybe then Kane would be willing to accept his own greatness.
