Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has seen the reports that numerous clubs are interested in star winger Leroy Sané.

With Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, and Liverpool FC all rumored to be eager to ink the Germany international, Hainer knows that competition for Sané will be stiff, but he remains confident.

“Leroy’s development is great. He is a world class player. To be this fast, to have this shooting technique, this ability and skills on the ball – that’s simply great. We always knew what enormous qualities he had, and now he’s showing it consistently on the pitch. Thomas Tuchel played a big part in this development,” Hainer told Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “Of course I hope Leroy will stay with us for a long time, no doubt about that.”

Sané’s respective on-the-field and off-the-field lives are said to be very good at the moment. Financially, Bayern Munich can compete with just about any offer for the attacker, barring City digging deep into its oil money. All that said, it seems everyone at Bayern Munich genuinely feels like a contract extension will happen.
