Bayern Munich is inching close to a contract extension with Sven Ulreich per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The back-up goalkeeper is expected to ink a one-year extension as a reward for his fine play while filling in for Manuel Neuer:
Sven #Ulreich is on the verge to sign a new contract until 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣! It’s almost done. All parties involved wants to complete the contract extension before Christmas ✅
➡️ The Bayern bosses reward Ulreich for his outstanding performances as a substitute for Manuel Neuer.
Ulreich provides a level of comfort to the club and to Neuer and is a popular locker room figure. The potential fallout from this is that Daniel Peretz will likely have to go on loan next season and Alexander Nübel’s time with Bayern Munich will likely come to an end (not that he was actually with the club all that much during his tenure).
