Leroy Sané is arguably in the best form he has ever been for Bayern Munich. The 27-year-old now has eight goals and six assists in 11 games so far this season for the Bavarians, only bettered by blockbuster signing Harry Kane. The bosses noticed this and want to extend the former Manchester City winger’s contract, due to end in 2025, but Sané wants to commit to his performances first:
I haven’t given it any thought yet. The club wants to have talks, but at the moment I want to focus on this season, which has relatively only just started. But FC Bayern remains my first point of contact, there’s no doubt about that.

Sané has played all but one game for the Rekordmeister and is showing signs of fatigue as of late. Despite a razor thin squad, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel should not overplay any of his players as much as possible.
