Harry Kane is proving his worth so far for Bayern Munich, both domestically and in the Champions League. The 30-year-old is currently on four goals and two assists for the Rekordmeister, who already qualified for the last 16 after edging Galatasaray and Manchester United bottling their away game 4-3 to Copenhagen. The knockout rounds start in February and the former Tottenham Hotspur talisman is aware of the expectations put on him and Bayern.
“Of course, that’s a part of being at one of the bigger clubs in the world”, Kane said (FourFourTwo via @iMiaSanMia). “People expect us to win the Champions League and I know I’m here to help. It’s an ambition of mine to win it too”.
Teams like Real Madrid and Manchester City…and Bayern’s thin squad stand in the way of lifting Ol’ Big Ears again for the first time since 2020, when the Bavarians won their sixth title after beating Paris Saint-Germain in the final through PSG product Kingsley Coman’s headed goal.
