Mathys Tel’s career trajectory is going up and it will only go higher as things stand. In terms of his immediate plans for Bayern Munich, he wants to do everything he can to make sure the season isn’t wasted.

“The plan with the team is clear. We know what we need to do. We need to perform as well as we can”, Tel said (via @iMiaSanMia). “We have a lot of games to come. We need to be fully focused, be that in matches or in training. We’re winning a lot of games at the moment because each player is aware of what they need to do. It’s only a positive thing.”

When asked about his objectives on a personal level, the ultimate plan is to establish his place in the starting XI. “My plan is to keep going in the same way. I need to continue helping my team in every way I can”, the 18-year-old Frenchman said. “When the starting XI get tired, it’s my job to enter the pitch and bring new energy. The plan for me is clear. I’m also working hard to secure my place in the starting eleven.”
