Harry Kane led Bayern Munich to a 3-1 victory on the road against Galatasaray in the Champions League group stage match. After scoring the eventual game winner in the 73rd minute on his own rebound, Kane found Jamal Musiala in the middle of the box in the 79th minute. Musiala calmly slotted his shot to give Bayern the commanding lead.
After battling the tenacious Galatasaray backline, Kane was also complimentary of the Turkish crowd.
“It’s my first time in this stadium and I’m just about getting my hearing back now. Amazing, credit to the Galatasaray fans and obviously our away fans as well. This is what football’s all about, doing it in tough atmospheres on a big occasion. Thankfully we were able to come through it today.” (via @iMiaSanMia)
Kane reached his only Champions League final back in 2019. More performances like tonight will keep Kane and his Bayern teammates on track to reach this year’s final in Kane’s hometown of London, England.
