The FIFA 2022 Men’s World Cup is upon us. Follow along the day-by-day action in each day’s game thread — even when Germany aren’t playing.

November 21

  • Group A: Senegal vs Netherlands | 11AM EST
  • Group B: England vs Iran | 8AM EST
  • Group B: USA vs Wales | 2PM EST

TV/Streaming: Peacock Premium (USA, en español); BBC/ITV (UK); Find Your Country

Our first look at the USMNT this tournament. How do we think that’s gonna go? Meanwhile, Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mané will be a huge miss for Senegal but he’s not the only one who can play — FC Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong and his Netherlands teammates should have their hands full. And it’s England who will have the first try at breaking down Iran’s defense. Will Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane stake an early claim towards the Golden Boot?

If you’d like to check back on our pre-tournament predictions and have a laugh about how badly we got it wrong, we’ve got you covered:

Groups A & B | Groups C & D | Groups E & F | Groups G & H
