According to Tz journalist Manuel Bonke, Bayern Munich winger and France international Kingsley Coman has already left the French national team and is back in Munich.
Coman reportedly underwent an MRI, which showed a “structural abnormality” in his calf. What exactly that means for Coman’s status is up for debate at this point. At a minimum, Coman is expected to miss this weekend’s match against RB Leipzig:
Kingsley #Coman ist bereits zurück in München. Die MRT-Bilder, die vom französischen Verband aufgenommen wurden, zeigen eine kleinere strukturelle Auffälligkeit. Auch hier möchte sich die medizinische Abteilung des #FCBayern noch ein genaueres Bild machen. #RBLFCB

Kingsley #Coman is already back in Munich. The MRI images taken by the French association show a minor structural abnormality. Here, too, the medical department of the #FCBayern get a more accurate picture. #RBLFCB
RMC Sport is indicating that Coman’s injury is not serious and that he could potentially be back for Bayern Munich’s Champions League match-up against FC Barcelona next Tuesday. It remains to be seen how the Bavarians will monitor and treat Coman, however. Given the Frenchman’s long injury history, Bayern Munich might be inclined to treat this recovery in a conservative manner in hopes of keeping him healthy for later in the season.
