Bayern Munich’s new Austrian midfielder, Marcel Sabitzer, will not be reporting to the Austrian camp this international break due to adductor issues. Instead, he will remain at the Säbener Straße.
In partnership with Austria’s coach Franco Froda and the Bayern Munich medical team, it was determined that Marcel Sabitzer should remain in Bavaria as he recovers from a adductor injury. According to Bayern Munich, Sabitzer has only been able to complete one recuperative running session since joining the Bavarian side.

This news is more or less understandable, as I am sure the Bavarians would not want to risk further injury to another one of their players over the international break as we have already seen a number (Upamecano, Neuer, Müller) currently dealing with injury issues, as well as a variety of their rotational players.
Hopefully, Sabitzer returns to full health while he is not put under extra stress of travel during the international break and recovers sooner rather than later.
