As Bayern Munich prepares for the Champions League, the club submitted its roster to UEFA:

Goal: Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Christian Früchtl

Defense: Dayot Upamecano, Omar Richards, Niklas Süle, Benjamin Pavard, Bouna Sarr, Lucas Hernández, Alphonso Davies, Tanguy Nianzou, Josip Stanisic

Midfield: Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Michael Cuisance, Marcel Sabitzer, Corentin Tolisso, Malik Tillmann, Marc Roca

Attack: Thomas Müller, Serge Gnabry, Robert Lewandowski, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting

You may be wondering why this list is missing one key name: Jamal Musiala. At 18-years-old, Musiala qualifies as a B List player. Per Sport 1, “A player may be included on this list if he was born on or after January 1, 2000 and was eligible to play for the club in question for two consecutive years between his 15th birthday and the date of his registration with UEFA.”

The Bavarians have several youngsters who might qualify for the B List aside of Musiala. Thorben Rhein and Bright Arrey-Mbi were other players listed by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia as possibilities for the B List.
