If anything, this season has already been a big success in the board room for Bayern Munich.
The front office has been tirelessly working to reach agreements on contract extensions with several key players throughout this season and could be closing in on yet another important member of the squad: Serge Gnabry.
After recently inking Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka to new deals, Gnabry is next in line for an extended stay in Bavaria according to Sport Bild (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia).
Gnabry’s current deal ends in 2023, but it can be assumed that Bayern Munich would be looking to extend his contract through 2025 or 2026. To no one’s surprise, the Kimmich’s new contract is a big factor in Gnabry’s future at the club.
The two ex-VfB Stuttgart youth players have been longtime friends and Kimmich seems to be among the most popular — and important — players to the squad moving forward.
