Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman back for team training

According to the club website, Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman was able to participate in parts of team training this morning:

Good news at the start of the week for FC Bayern! Kingsley Coman was able to take part in team training again on Monday. The 25-year-old attacker had undergone minor heart surgery eleven days ago and had to take a break as a result.

It remains to be seen what role — if any — Coman will play on Wednesday in the Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday. Coman’s recent medical issues are only part of the factor in the Frenchman’s plying time, though. Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, and Jamal Musiala have all been excellent in the last three weeks, which could leave Coman — and his unsettled contract situation — on the sidelines more than he would like.

Whatever the case, having Coman available once more will give Julian Nagelsmann yet another potent weapon for his attack.
