Bayern Munich takes another step forward toward a more sustainable future as they continue the tradition of pre-match kits being made from ocean plastic.
We take a look as more pictures of the 2022 version are out (Footy Headlines via @iMiaSanMia) and these pre-match shirts have great potential to be polarizing, despite their sustainability factor:

I’ll be completely honest here, I don’t like it. As we take another step toward a sustainable future, we definitely have taken a few steps back on the aesthetics front. They look like they are straight out of a Harry Potter movie — an unsightly mix of the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw pajamas. The alternating waves of red and navy might actually be disorienting, which means it’s probably not the best idea to wear them right before a match?! Well, what can we say, it’s pretty clear that #PajamaSzn returns after a gap of more than 8 years since the 2013-14 third kit. At least, this time they won’t be wearing it during the game.

I think it’s safe to say that the 2016 parley kit is still the king of plastic kits at Bayern. In fact that kit remains a fan-favourite to this day. The Bavarians need to get back on the top of their fashion game and this article needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.
