Earlier on Sunday, we saw the story detailing that Bayern Munich midfielders Michael Cuisance and Marc Roca were progressing under Julian Nagelsmann — just not enough to break into the game day roster.
Now, Bild is expanding on those initial reports with a bit more detail on each player:
- Cuisance: The French midfielder was up for sale this summer, but Bayern Munich could not find a willing partner to barter with. Ultimately, Cuisance could leave the Bavarians during the winter transfer window if a buyer can be found.
- Roca: The Spaniard’s situation is a little bit different from Cuisance’s status. Bayern Munich is not actively selling Roca, but the 24-year-old is going to have a tough time climbing over Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, and Marcel Sabitzer if he hopes to get a starting role — or consistent playing time. That obstacle appears to be very daunting.
Interestingly, Bild did not list Corentin Tolisso as a player Roca would need to surpass. Tolisso is also expected to be up for sale this weekend.
