A legal confrontation between two agents, Karlheinz Förster and Murat Lokurlu, has brought to light some shocking details of an off-the-record conversation between Bayern Munich defender Niklas Süle and Lokurlu. The newly emerged report has everything it needs to put the German international in a poor light.
After Bayern’s 3-1 victory away at Fürth, Julian Nagelsmann had a thing or two to share about Süle’s leaked WhatsApp conversations from 2018. The manager made it clear that he has a good relationship with the 26-year-old while acknowledging the hard times the player went through in recent years – circumstances have changed at the club since the departure of Niko Kovač.
“I think it’s borderline when such chat histories are made public. That has to do with trust. I did not speak about it with Niki, but I’ve known him for years and know that he has quality and potential.”

“He is someone who plays at the European top level. There were moments again [against Fürth] where we could see that. He knows himself that he still has development steps to take. He didn’t have an easy time at Bayern recently, but I am absolutely happy with him”, said Nagelsmann.
It is safe to assume that Süle is more motivated and happy now playing under Nagelsmann than he was under Kovač. Does this change anything for him? Only Süle (or another Der Spiegel leak a few years from now) can tell.
