Friday became a busy day for Bayern Munich chatter.
Fueled by leaked information from a lawsuit involving two, now-dueling agents, Bayern Munich found itself dead in the middle of two of the biggest stories to emerge from the lawsuit involving Karlheinz Förster and Murat Lokurlu, which was over — you guessed it — money.
First, it was a story detailing that Timo Werner had agreed to a deal with Bayern Munich, but ultimately opted out because of a lack of support from sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic. Then, it was a series of WhatsApp messages that were exchanged between Bayern Munich star Niklas Süle and Lokurlu, which detailed the defender’s desire to leave Bavaria for Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Needless to say, Bayern Munich was not going to dip its toe into those waters.
“We do not want to participate in these disputes as FC Bayern at all. We decided that together,” said Salihamidzic (as captured by Tz).
