Per a release from the club website, Bayern Munich inked Christian Früchtl and Malik Tillman to new deals:

FC Bayern has extended the contract of goalkeeper Christian Früchtl until 2023. Malik Tillman signed a professional player contract until 2024. 21-year-old Früchtl joined the C Juniors in 2014 from SpVgg Grün-Weiß Deggendorf, while striker Tillman (19) moved to Munich a year later from SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

“We are very pleased with the development of Christian Früchtl and Malik Tillman. Both joined us as young talents and are excellent examples of our youth development work,” said sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić. “They have all the prerequisites to make their way. We will still have a lot of fun with them.”

Früchtl said it was “privilege” to develop alongside Manuel Neuer.

“I am very pleased that I was able to extend my contract at FC Bayern and that I enjoy the trust of FC Bayern. It is a privilege for a young goalkeeper and spurs me on to train alongside Manuel Neuer. I have the best opportunities here to develop further,” said Früchtl.

As for Tillman, the youngster is happy to have some stability.

“I would like to thank FC Bayern for the trust they have placed in me and I am delighted to be able to be a part of the licensed team. My goal is to establish myself at the highest level. I will give everything for that,” Tillman said.
