Germany won both of their World Cup Qualifiers during this international break with big victories over both Bulgarian and Serbia. The star of the games was Bayern Munich’s Lea Schüller who scored six of the German’s twelve goals. All in all, Bayern players accounted for ten goals.

Against Bulgaria, the Germans powered to a big 7-0 win. Bayern players Schüller, Linda Dallmann, and Lina Magull scored two goals each. Wolfsburg’s Tabea Waßmuth scored the other goal to help Germany ease to victory.

In the match against Serbia, the Germans fell behind 0-1 after only three minutes, and the Serbians held onto that lead into halftime. However, an explosion of goals from Schüller in the second half helped kickstart the German offense. They ended up winning the match 5-1 with relative ease.

After two games, Germany are the only team with six points. The Germans should continue to breeze through this qualifying group.
