Bayern Munich’s relationship with FC Dallas is well-documented and the Bavarians could be headed back to Texas in search of center forward prospect, Ricardo Pepi.
A report captured by Sport1 indicated that Bayern Munich could be interested in the 18-year-old:
Apparently, the achievements of the center forward have not remained hidden from FC Bayern — all the more since the German record champions have a cooperation with their club, FC Dallas.
According to journalist and MLS expert Jaime Ojeda, the Munich team are interested in Pepi alongside AC Florence and three other Italian teams.
No wonder, Pepi impressed in the current MLS season despite his young age: With 12 goals so far, he is second on the top scorer list behind Raul Ruidiaz.
Pepi has already travelled to Munich for a training session with some of his FC Dallas teammates, so there is an established relationship already in place. It remains to be seen, however, if Bayern Munich will follow through on its alleged interest.
