Former Bayern Munich player turned sporting director Christian Nerlinger has addressed the ongoing talks surrounding a potential transfer of Borussia Mönchengladbach player Florian Neuhaus to the Bavarian capital. Nerlinger, who is currently working as the 24-year-old’s agent, has denied the claims of interest and the possibility of a move at the moment.

Even though the club hasn’t gone all out for the midfielder yet, he has been slightly linked to Bayern for almost a year now. Nerlinger’s statement hints that it’s time to give the speculations a rest.

He told Bild TV, “This is completely uninteresting for me and for Florian at the moment. I have been working with him for five years and I am convinced that he will be a top player. We’ll talk about his next step when the time comes.”

Neuhaus, who is very familiar with the Munich neighbourhood, has bagged a total of 16 goals and 20 assists in his 122 appearances for Gladbach till date.
